How do online lessons work?I teach online lessons to students all over the world. All you need is an internet connection! I offer two different options for online lessons: 1) We pick a time, and use Skype, Facetime, or a similar video service to conduct our lesson. I will send you an invoice via Quickbooks, and you can pay via Apple Pay, a credit card, a debit card, or a bank transfer. I will not ask for nor receive your payment info (credit card number, bank account number, etc.). 2) I also teach online through TakeLessons.com. If you prefer to work through a larger company, this option is available. TakeLessons.com will handle the payments. This option costs you more and pays me less, but some customers prefer using the major company. Here's the link to request me: https://takelessons.com/profile/lisa-n14?service=saxophone&online=1

What ages are online lessons good for?I usually do not teach online lessons for students younger than 10. There is no upper age limit! I will sometimes teach younger students online if a parent or caretaker is available to assist the child.

Can I switch back and forth between Online and In Studio lessons?Absolutely! Sometimes it is just not convenient to make the trip to the studio. I have taught a lot of online lessons during snowstorms! :-) Update 3/2020: Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, I am currently teaching only online lessons.

How does the free trial lesson work?Just as you expect! The first lesson is free. This gives the teacher and student an opportunity to meet with each other, and make sure everyone is comfortable.
